Based on a pack of ten disposable bags at £17.00, and a working life of 355 emptying cycles for this bag — 20–30 uses between washes, up to 15 washes. Disposable prices are typical UK retail, August 2026.
A washable, reusable filter bag that replaces the disposable bags in your Karcher extractor. Empty it, shake it out and carry on — instead of buying another pack every few weeks.
Three layers of high-strength polyester fleece with an inner microfleece membrane and a non-stick inner face, so dust drops out cleanly rather than clinging to the walls. The collar is cut to fit WD 2 Plus, WD 2-18, KWD 2, so there is no gap for fine dust to slip past.
Made for dry waste: dirt, wood chips, sawdust and general site debris. It will cope with plasterboard and concrete dust, but those shorten its life considerably.

Empty the bag when it is around three quarters full. Take it out, shake the dust into your waste bin, and refit it. There is no need to wash it every time.
Wash it every 20–30 emptying cycles, or sooner if suction drops off.
How to wash it. Machine wash at 30°C on a cold, gentle cycle at no more than 600 rpm. Do not use detergent, fabric softener or bleach — they clog the fleece and ruin the filtration. Water alone is enough.
Drying. Air dry outdoors or in a well ventilated space until completely dry, usually about a day. Never tumble dry, never iron, and never put it near a radiator or heat gun. Refitting a damp bag will make it smell and can damage your machine.
The bag will take up to 15 washes. After that the fleece stops recovering and it is time for a new one.
Dry waste only. Dirt, wood chips, sawdust and general site debris.
Never use it for: wet or damp waste, hot or smouldering material, ash, cigarette ends, solvents, flammable or explosive dust, or anything hazardous to health such as asbestos or silica.
Shortens bag life considerably: concrete, brick, stone, porcelain, plasterboard and decorators’ dust. The bag will handle them, but expect fewer washes. For heavy work of that kind a disposable bag may work out better.
This bag is not a substitute for your machine’s main filter. Keep the main filter fitted and serviced as the manufacturer instructs.
Empty it outdoors or over a bin, and wear a mask if you are sensitive to dust. Keep away from children. At the end of its life the bag can go in general waste.
